Most people think Lebanon is simply growing.
I don't think that's what's happening.
Growth is when a town gets a few more houses, another restaurant opens, and life carries on much as it always has.
Transformation is different.
Transformation changes the trajectory of a place. It changes who moves in, what gets built, where jobs come from, what land becomes valuable, how traffic flows, what schools have to prepare for, and what opportunities exist for families and businesses.
That's where Lebanon finds itself today.
Over the next several years, billions of dollars will be invested here. New employers, new neighborhoods, new roads, and thousands of new residents will reshape this community. Whether you've lived here for forty years or just arrived last month, those changes will affect you in ways that aren't always obvious.
The problem is that information about these changes is scattered everywhere. One announcement comes from the city. Another from a developer. Another from a state agency. Another gets buried in a planning meeting that most people never knew happened. By the time the average resident hears about it, the decision has already been made.
That's why I started Build Lebanon.
Not to chase headlines. Not to stir controversy. And not to tell people what to think.
I want to connect the dots.
When a new development is approved, what does it actually mean for nearby neighborhoods? When infrastructure expands, who benefits? When a major employer invests billions of dollars, what opportunities does that create for local businesses, homeowners, students, and people considering a move here?
Those are the questions worth answering.
History is being written in Lebanon right now. Years from now, people will look back and ask how this city became what it is. My hope is that Build Lebanon becomes the record of that story—and a trusted guide for everyone who wants to understand it while it's happening, not after the fact.
If Lebanon's future matters to you, welcome. You're exactly who this publication is for.
